Our friend Ray Rios has been firing off pictures of his adventures as a commercial diver. Ray is pursuing a career diving for a living and just recently left Santa Barbara where he graduated from the Marine Diving Technology Program. He packed up his gear and made his way to the infamous oil patch and now calls Louisiana home. With so much oil industry close by Ray will get more time under his belt to put all of the skills he learned to good use. From underwater burning, lift bags, pipeline inspections and sonar testing to unfouling props and maintenance on Coast Guard boats. Ray is eager to get at it. Look for more to come as we follow along on the adventures of our friend, the blue collar worker of the sea.
